Basic rules of skin care

Below are some simple rules that are the basic foundation of excellent skin care:
- Drink lots of water. It not only flushes the body of toxins but keeping the skin hydrated prevents dehydration lines which eventually turn into wrinkles!
- Wear sunscreen! The quickest way to accelerate the aging process is the sun. Also repeated burns will lead to skin cancer. All that damage is cumulative.
- Exfoliate once a week. This sloughs off dead skin cells from the epidermis (top layer of the skin) which brightens the complexion and reveals fresh, smooth, skin.
- Keep moving. Excercise gets the blood flowing, nourishes the skin and stimulates your lymph system which helps flush out toxins.
